BandB Peak District

B&B Peak District
The Peak District in Derbyshire, with its leafy forests and vast rolling meadows, was the first landscape in Britain to achieve National Park status in 1951. Ramblers flock there throughout the year to explore its spectacular 1800 miles of public footpaths over the heaths and moorland. However, its natural beauty is not the only attraction. The Peak District is home to 58 miles of cycle trails, listed buildings, rivers and streams, as well as many popular spots for climbing and caving.‘Stanage Edge’ and ‘The Roaches’ are renowned for being amongst the best rock climbing sites in the world. For these reasons, The Peak District remains one of Britain’s best loved tourist destinations and appeals to those seeking a peaceful rural retreat, or even adrenaline thrills. There are Hollywood film locations, luscious gardens, and lots of places to stay. As well as the stately homes at Chatsworth, Haddon, Kedleston and Sudbury. It is a great family retreat, with some diverse things to do; such as visiting the theme parks at Alton Towers and Gulliver’s Kingdom, industrial heritage at Derwent Valley World Heritage site and Peak Mining Museum and the National Tram Museum.
There is luxury accommodation available in the Peak District, with an array of B&B’s to choose from. Some have extra amenities such as their own landscaped gardens and hot tubs. There are Peak District Spas and Peak District bed and breakfast rooms for people to rest and wind down. However, for some holiday makers, The Peak District’s B&B’s are just a pit-stop from which to go walking, rambling, cycling, horse riding or indeed most outdoor pursuits. There really is something for everyone because wherever you wander, you’re never far away from sports and entertainment facilities, or the vibrant night-life of surrounding cities like Derby and Sheffield. There are websites available with online brochures for you to book a luxury B&B in The Peak District.
